Deeply connected with Italian culture, the terra sienna pigment is primarily produced in Siena, Tuscany. Inspired by the color and using traditional Mexican natural dyeing processes, Maddalena recreated a version of the same rich hue by dyeing grey shades of wool with marigold and cochineal.
