Our rugs are handwoven on pedal looms by master weavers in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, and Teotitlán del Valle, Oaxaca. This rug is 100% undyed wool from Chiapas.

The finely spun wool rugs are extra special as the finely spun wool is only spun by a few of the oldest women in the cooperative who still know how to spin so finely. The Difuminado uses all the variations in the tones of wool to create an ombre effect. This is a very tightly woven rug. This rug has 3 panels joined together with a blanket stitch with a grey crochet edge.
